Mr Iain McLaughlin-Symon is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising exclusively in Hand and Wrist surgery with an interest in the management of arthritic conditions, Dupuytren’s disease, sports injuries including key hole surgery, wide awake surgery and nerve problems around the hand, wrist and elbow.
He graduated from the University of Manchester in 2007 and went on to complete higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery in the North West of England. On completion of his training he secured prestigious specialist fellowships in hand and wrist surgery at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre and the Wrightington Upper Limb Unit.
Iain works as an NHS consultant at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport and is a member of The British Society for Surgery of the Hand and the North West Hand Society.
